- David Jones Review added: 2018.07.14★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆April. Llandudno. Brief synopsis only. CHATSWORTH HOUSE HOTEL. 4 nights. BUGS IN BED. Response from Manager/Owner: "Sorry, but it happens in the best hotels". Unsympathetic attitude. Reported to Conwy BC Environmental Services. Good response from them. Bath rooms tiny & outdated, too small to include basins. Bath sealant covered with black mould. Allocated dining table, no tablecloth, sticky throughout stay. Glasses & saucers stuck to surface.
Swansea Bus Station to Llandudno via GORDANO Services Bristol took NINE HOURS. Return to Neath (saving 30 mins) took TEN & A HALF HOURS. NO TOILET on sub-contracted coach. Feeder coach chaos at Gordano on return - two hours there.
Told on phone, complaints to Majestic have to be in writing. Customer service person unavailable, twice. Initial response to our letter "I appreciate you were disappointed with some aspects of your holiday...". No apology. Awaiting fuller response a week later.
Further to Owner's response:
The coach from Swansea WAS the main coach via Gordano, Bristol, to Llandudno. It had NO TOILET. Thus no toilet facilities throughout the holiday, including the daily excursions. Almost all the passengers were elderly including ourselves.
